We Look
Out for
Each Other.

Construction workers face the second-highest suicide rate of any industry. One thousand die from workplace accidents each year — five thousand die by suicide. You are sixteen times more likely to die by suicide or overdose than from a fall, an electrocution, or any jobsite hazard.

The NM Building Trades Wellness Coalition was built to change that. We are the third coalition of our kind in the nation — bringing every trade together around mental health, peer support, and recovery. No silos. No stigma. Just workers looking out for each other.

Peer Support
Trained peer specialists embedded in your local — tradespeople who have been through it and know how to help.
Vital Cog Training
Two-hour suicide prevention training delivered at union halls, contractor meetings, and job sites across the state.
Mental Health Resources
Naloxone within three minutes of every worker on every job site. EAP access. AA/NA. Recovery centers. All in one place.
Statewide Coverage
From Albuquerque to the patch — every worker in New Mexico has access to the coalition's support network.
